DES 333 - Issues in Design


3 credit(s)
An intermediate course in graphic design with an emphasis on the integration of historical ideas, styles, and trends into contemporary practice. Topics include, but are not limited to, writing systems, relation of design to art and architecture, typography and book production, form/function/technology, pioneers of design, and design after modernism.
Prerequisite(s): DES 289 .
