MET 363 - Machine Design I for Engineering Technology

Applied component design using the principles of statics and strength of materials. Topics include stress concentration, theories of failure, cyclic loading, shafts, keys, coupling, bending in two planes, screw threads, and welded joints. Three lecture hours, three lab hours.
Prerequisite(s): MET 243 .
