MET 470 - Thermodynamics I for Engineering Technology


4 credit(s)
First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics as applied to open and closed systems. Topics include the theory and significance of pure substances, work, heat, internal energy, enthalpy, and entropy. Ideal and real gas calculations are made, and vapor systems are studied. Three lecture hours, three lab hours.
Prerequisite(s): MTH 352 .
Laboratory fee.
