HS 440 - Introduction to Health Promotion


3 credit(s)
This course presents the fundamentals of Health Promotion Programming. Students learn about the Health Promotion program process, including needs assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation. The course explains Health Promotion Programming in the context of our changing health care system. Examples of successful Health Promotion Programs are described throughout the course.
Prerequisite(s): HS 140  and HS 141 , or HS 111 , or permission of instructor; junior status.
