General Education Requirements (Art History)

Students in the Art History program are required to fulfill the general education requirements described below.
|
All-University Curriculum (13 credits)
Students must take a course in each of the following areas:
Living in a Cultural Context: Western Heritage (AUCW)
Living in a Cultural Context: Other Cultures (AUCC)
Living in a Social Context (AUCS)
Living in a Scientific and Technological World (AUCT)
Mathematics (3 credits)
Students must demonstrate basic college-level mathematics skills by successfully completing any mathematics course (except M 118 ) taught by the A&S mathematics department.
Humanities and Arts (12 credits)
Social Science (3 credits)
- one course from from the following list: economics, politics, psychology, sociology.
Laboratory Science (4 credits)
- One 4-credit laboratory course from the following list: biology, chemistry, physics.
Information Technology Literacy (3 credits)
