MEA 307 - Vocal Development K–12

In this course, students develop competencies related to choral music education in K-12 schools. Students build an understanding of the voice, discussing anatomy, the phonation process, tone, and voice change throughout the lifespan. Students discover how to create and implement a sequential curriculum, how to plan and execute an effective choral rehearsal, and what resources are currently available to choral music educators.
Prerequisite(s): MED 110 , MEA 100 , MEA 104 .
