NUR 444 - Community Service Learning II

Through Project Horizon, the University of Hartford’s community outreach program, students partner with nonprofit agencies and programs serving primarily vulnerable populations. Engagement, reflection, reciprocity, and public dissemination are the vehicles through which service learning is implemented. Students use participatory action research methods to foster wellness, quality of life, and civic engagement.
