AC 325 - Accounting Information Systems 3 credit(s) Introduces the use and control of manual and computerized accounting systems. The course topics include the analysis and internal control of the revenue, expenditure and financial reporting cycles, data-based management systems and network technology in accounting, control procedures in automated environments, and ethical considerations involved in accounting control systems. Students will be required to build a small accounting system using a spreadsheet or database package. Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in AC 210 and AC 211 ; or MBA 612.
