Electrical Engineering Minor

The minor in electrical engineering is designed to provide students matriculating in bachelor’s degree programs in other colleges of the University, particularly the sciences and the other engineering majors, with an introduction to the discipline of electrical engineering. The minor consists of six courses in electrical engineering. It is not available to B.S. computer enginering candidates.
All courses must be taken at the University of Hartford and must be taken for a letter grade. A grade point average of 2.33 (C+) must be achieved in the minor.

Course Requirements for the E.E. Minor
Any two of the following courses:

- Any three additional courses chosen from electrical engineering courses (ECE prefix, 3 or 4 credits each)
Additional Information:
Students taking both ECE 255 and ECE 360 will receive credit in the minor for only one of these choices.
Students taking ECE 210 , ECE 255 and the ECE 213 /ECE 215 combination will receive credit in the minor only for one of these choices.
Students taking both ECE 360 and the ECE 361 /ECE 363 combination receive credit in the minor only for one of these choices.
Students taking both ECE 470 and the ECE 471 /ECE 473 combination receive credit in the minor only for one of these choices.
Students must satisfy all course prerequisites for courses taken in the minor or obtain written permission from the instructor. |
