Minor GPA and Grade Requirements

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in courses required to complete the minor. All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.

Requirements for the Biology Minor

Students choosing a minor in biology must complete a minimum of 18 biology credits approved by the department chair and apply for a minor in biology not later than the end of the sophomore year. Additional credit may be required where biology courses with a chemistry prerequisite are included. The specific curriculum will be planned to suit individual student goals. AUCT 120 and AUCT 140 with laboratory may be applied to the minor with permission of the department chair.
